What I do is summed up nicely by my tagline: Gardens, Edges, Shrubs, Hedges.

Those four speciality areas are the cornerstones of my business and, broadly speaking, they all fit under the overall heading of garden maintenance and all that goes along with that over the course of a season. That generally involves the following:

-Spring Clean-up: remove debris & any leaves from yard and gardens, cut back any perennials left up over the winter, tidy up and sharpen edges, top up mulch as needed

- In season maintenance: weeding of gardens, maintaining edges, trimming of shrubs and hedges as needed, looking at plant health, and addressing whatever else requires attention (such as deadheading perennials, moving plants, and of course, much more)

- Fall Clean-up: cut back perennials as they fade, remove fallen leaves, set-up winter protection for shrubs as needed, and tackle anything else that needs attention. Fall is also a great time to divide perennials.

- I also can also help making changes to plant selection, expanding or reducing gardens, or removal of large shrubs or small trees.

This is only a high level overview of what I generally do during the year; there is, of course, more that I can do for you and that might need to be done in your gardens. I’d love to discuss the specifics as they relate to your gardens and property with you!
