My name is Phil and I’m the owner / operator of Spade + Thistle. I’m glad that you ended up here! 

Maybe you’re here because you purchased a home from an avid gardener or pond enthusiast and things looked beautiful when you moved in, but a season or two later maybe not so much. Perhaps you love your garden or pond (or both!) but just can’t physically do the work yourself any longer but want to keep things looking great.

Whatever the reason, I’m here to help with your gardens and/or your pond!

When you hire Spade + Thistle you’re hiring me, and me alone. No part-timers, no lazy landscapers, and no workers that don't know what they’re doing. It's just me. That means that you can be assured you’ll always receive the individualized service, great communication, high standard of work, and attention to detail that only a business owner with a passion for their trade can provide.
